The Application software Hydras 3 developed by OTT was especially designed to fulfil the requirements in the fields of Hydrometry, Meteorology and environmental protection. With its modern 32 bit architecture (running under Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP and NT 4.0) Hydras 3 offers a practice-oriented, easy-to-operate surface for the collection, processing, interpretation and transmission of data from sensors and measurement stations. Central starting point for the Hydras 3 operation is the main window, which is subdivided into three parts: - Concise and clearly structured menu bar
- Hierarchical tree-structure for the logical organisation in working areas, fields, measuring sites and sensors
- Merged cards and pictorial materials
The communication with data loggers (downloading of data / setting of operation parameters) takes place according to the application on site via infrared interface (IrDA), directly through a serial interface or via the different data remote transmission systems (serial modem, GSM, radio....). Efficient, configurable import and export functions intergrate Hydras 3 into various external applications and working environments. |
